Dallas Frasca

Dallas comes from a background of singing with roots bands. She began singing at the Saphire Coast town of Pambula, N.S.W, with some friends jamming. Re-locating back to her stomping ground, (North East Victoria), she worked rotating 12 hour shifts as a Lab. Technician for nearly 6 years on and off in her home town of Wangaratta. In almost solitary confinement for 12 hours a day, she learned to sing by listening to vocalists on the small transistor radio in the lab.
Frasca's distinctive, gutsy, heart-felt vocal style is of uncommon strength and her finger pickin / slide guitar grooves are earning her respect from fellow musicians and been wowing crowds all over Australia. In just 2 years she has achieved more than most musicians could hope for in a lifetime.
By the summer of December 2005, Dallas had only been playing slide guitar for 11 months and when she recorded her debut solo EP, Acoustic Slide Groove she had no idea it would lead to being the winner of Triple J's, 'Light Your Fuse' comp. or support Xavier Rudd on his last national tour, play almost every major festival in the country, two of her songs hitting #1 on MP3.com or enjoy the blast she's had achieving these goals.
REVIEW
"What's with her voice? It has no limits to it? It's like diving off a rock into a pristine gorge with the worst hangover of your life and emerging from the cool depths rejuvenated...... I can't wait until she releases an LP and takes over the world."

JEFF CURRAN

Jeff Curran's (more commonly known as Little Bongy) musical career began at an early age. Starting with a ukelale & bush bass at the age of five, he was on stage with his father (Bongy from Uncle Bob's Jug Band) almost growing up in bush halls and under tea tables at bush tables with rauwkas jug bands. By the time he was eight he started playing guitar and the went to mandolin when he was twenty.
Playing with many great players over the years, Jeff is self taught and his left handed, upside down playing style is uncomparable to any other players around.
Bands and musicians he has played with over the years include: Uncle Bob's Jug Band, Hatz Fitz, Elvinators, Red Hot Poker Dots, Ben Smith Band.
Jeff's technique, musical equipment and sound gets commented on every single show. His Silver Face Fender Super Reverb (loaded with vintage alneco's) handed down from Hatz Fitz was painted by a well known artist 'Damo', has appeared in magazines and always attracts interest. His 1950's dobro is well known around as 'The Black Beauty' or 'Stinky Bitch', and was also Hatz Fitz' s first dobro and once belonged to Chad Morgan. 'Stinky' is loaded with a home made humbucker.
Jeff has toured the states several times and found in the Osark Mountains his 1911 Gibson Mandolin and bought for a very reasonable price off some mountain hillbillies.
Jeff is a one lead in and one volume man and has been known to be able to change a woman's menstral cycle (read REVIEWS page) and is definately a pioneer for his sound and style.
